GENTRIFY BROOKLYN gets you laughing despite yourself in an improv comedy show bringing young, talented performers from the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, the PIT and the Magnet Theatre in "Manhattan" out into the brownstone jungle of Brooklyn.

A jungle thick with bars and restaurants to visit before the show each Saturday at 10PM.

At just $5 and on top of the escape route back to Manhattan or deeper into Brooklyn (R Train at Union Street) it is nearly impossible to go wrong.

Hosted by comedy trios SIDECAR and M.A.D., Gentrify Brooklyn invites you to a weekly line-up of New York’s hottest improv and comedy groups for non-gentrified prices.  Sidecar has taught and performed long form improv and sketch in New York, Los Angeles, Alaska, Seattle, Philadelphia and Boston and have been making waves all over the web, from the NY Times laughlines blog to Slate TV. M.A.D. is an improv team brought together by Christina Gausus and have been featured in numerous shows at UCBNY. Both groups are regular performers at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre and the PIT.

The young men of Sidecar are Justin Tyler (Tybrus, Comic Book Club), Matt Fisher (UCB Harold Team The Law Firm) and Alden Ford (Death League Tea Party, Big Tobacco). The young ladies of M.A.D. are D’Arcy Erokan (UCB Harold Team Scootch), Abra Tabak (UCB Harold Team Bastian) and MacKenzie Condon (Chicago IO team Callous).
